Race joined Paskert Divers Thompson in 2025. His law practice focuses on surety, construction, and commercial litigation. He represents businesses and individuals throughout Florida in state and federal courts. In one case, Race successfully argued complex jurisdictional issues at arbitration, securing recovery of damages, costs, and attorney's fees for his clients. In another matter, he had a final judgment against a contractor overturned and then achieved a favorable outcome at trial with all claims dismissed. Race is dedicated to providing professional legal representation and achieving positive results for his clients.
Race studied law at the University of Oxford in England, UK, before earning his Juris Doctorate from Florida State University College of Law. Race also holds a Certificate in Environmental, Natural Resources, and Land Use Law from Florida State University College of Law. The capstone of Race’s undergraduate studies includes winning the Villanova School of Business National Real Estate Development Case Competition hosted in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, which he then presented to the Florida State University College of Business Board of Directors at the Hudson Yards development in Manhattan, New York.
Aside from various other athletic endeavors, Race has finished several Ironman triathlons and ultramarathons. Race enjoys scuba diving, spearfishing, Muay Thai, and is active in his local church.
